How to order your prescription

Beechwood Medical Centre now operates a policy of accepting prescription requests in written form. The easiest way to do this is on our website to simply complete the form. Please allow at least 48 hours for repeat prescriptions.

Prescribing Policy

Some medications require a 6 or 12 monthly review or blood tests. In such cases, you will be required to make an appointment. In conjunction with best practice guidelines, we actively discourage prescribing benzodiazepines or sleeping tablets on an ongoing basis.

Medical Card Patients

The GMS medical card entitles holders to a wide range of medical services from their nominated GP / surgery. These services are provided to the medical card holder free of charge and include standard consultations for treatment of illnesses.

Online Prescriptions

You can now order your repeat prescription online and collect from your local pharmacy
